This pink Lautrec garlic is not quite up to standard due to a poor harvest in the area this year so is classed as B-Grade. You can expect around 8 bulbs of garlic per bunch, with around 70% of the bulbs being usable. Expect some dried cloves and brown spots. Lautrec pink garlic has the reputation of being the finest garlic in France. Grown and harvested in the south of France, this pink garlic is said to have been introduced to France in the Middle Ages. Lautrec pink garlic is known for its aromatic and subtle taste and is excellent in both cooked dishes, as well as eaten raw. These ‘ail rose’ bunches have a long shelf-life and are best stored hanging in your kitchen, out of direct sunlight.
