This hearty duck cassoulet from La Belle Chaurienne is made in Castelnaudary, in South West of France,  the historic birthplace of this iconic dish. Rich, comforting, and full of flavour, it features tender pieces of confit duck, traditional Toulouse sausages, and slow-cooked white beans in a savoury, tomato-based sauce.
Perfect for an effortless yet authentic French meal, simply pour into a dish and heat in the oven for 45 minutes, brown under the grill in the last 5 minutes to develop a golden crust, or gently warm in a saucepan for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Made using traditional recipes with quality ingredients, this cassoulet is a satisfying dish best enjoyed with crusty bread and good company.
