Elizaldia veal Marengo is a slow-cooked veal stew prepared in the Basque Country, inspired by the classic French dish Veau Marengo. This version combines tender French veal, tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms, gently simmered in white wine to create a rich, balanced sauce with natural depth and warmth.
A touch of Espelette chilli pepper adds a subtle Basque twist, enhancing the flavour without overpowering the delicate texture of the veal. The meat remains tender and moist, coated in a smooth tomato-based sauce that pairs beautifully with simple side dishes.
Made with no preservatives or additives, this ready-to-heat meal serves 3 to 4 people.
