These carefully selected green Manzanilla olives have a special touch: they are stuffed with piment d’Espelette, the delicate red spicy pepper that’s a staple of Basque cuisine. The combination of tender, salty olive and mild-but-tangy chilli is truly irresistible.
These Espelette chilli pepper olives are wonderful on their own, in salads or as part of an apéritif spread or tapas evening. You can also chop them finely and mix with a touch of olive oil for a spicy tapenade that’s perfect on fresh baguette. Once open, you can keep these olives in the fridge for 14 days in a suitable container – to get the best of their flavour, just let them come to room temperature before enjoying.
